I am an Ottawa Indian (registered tribal member)

My book "Last Journey" (http://lastjourney.tripod.com) was written by SSG Darrell Griffin, Jr (KIA 03/21/07) and, me, his dad, Darrell, Sr. It has received incredible reviews - NY Times, Barnes and Noble Review, Publishers Weekly - many others. Darrell Jr, and I were writing a book that compared the Iraq war to the writings of the great philosophers. General Petraeus allowed me to embed with Jr's combat unit in Baghdad to complete the book. Jr and I were troubled by the war, yet Jr was an incredible soldier. I Would greatly appreciate mention on your site.

i think its great that something is written. lets hope indians take the time to read and think of what was experienced. the same tool ie read and write can also be applied to other fields, such as eliminating poverty. also, say your mind, its impor
