I feel like I am treated like dirt everytime I go to IHS. The staff acts like my visit- cost come out of their pockets personally. I think they take classes on how to get rid of people who don't have insurance.
The U. S. Government has tried to provide free and effective health care coverage for Native Americans for over 150 years, yet look how well run the IHS is. The VA Administration is another example. The U. S. Government will just waste money.
Not allocating funds to IHS... what money are they wasting? 150yrs, what planet do you come from? I've never had too many problems while in Anchorage, AK.
I believe that for the money that is paid to provide IHS we could get top of the line health insurance that would cover everything and all native Amer. They should take the IHS and closer down. Native's deserve much more than they receive from IHS.
