Yosemite Miwok or Paiute baskets?
Yosemite Indian Field Days used to be held at June Lake, not Yosemite Valley. That is because June Lake was in Paiute Mono County, not Mariposa County. Because that is where the Yosemite Indian basket makers lived. Something the Park does not tell visitors.
