| Sharon Curley and Tom Melendez, promotions coordinator for Cliff Castle Casino, discussed Curley’s $100,000 win. |
There was a big cheer and loud clapping from the group of people surrounding Cliff Castle Casino’s Castle Club at 1 a.m. to watch her spin the prize wheel for a final chance at $100,000 for the night.
Curley said she had earned raffle tickets in order to get a chance to take part in the wheel spin game, which paid off. “I plan to pay off some bills, including my school loan, with the money,” she said.
“This was the ideal way to finish off a great evening and a very successful New Year’s Eve party,” said Cliff Castle Casino Marketing Director Tony Averitt. “We congratulate Sharon on her big win.”
