SEDONA, Airz. – The International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers will convene Dec. 3 – 7 at Sedona Mago Retreat Center, in Sedona. It will be the seventh gathering of the Grandmothers Council honoring Grandmother Mona Polacca, Hopi/Havasupai/Tewa elder. The Grandmothers Council represents a global alliance of prayer, education and healing for our Mother Earth, all Her inhabitants, and all the children for the next seven generations to come. They are deeply concerned with the unprecedented destruction of our Earth and the destruction of indigenous ways of life.
