LOS ANGELES – This exhibit opens Nov. 7 at the Autry National Center, 4700 Western Heritage Way, Los Angeles, and runs through May 30, 2010. Exhibit hours are Saturdays and Sundays: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesdays – Fridays: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Return to Events ListThis is the Autry’s premier collection of baskets from the Southwest Museum of the American Indian. The exhibit features some of the most important Native American baskets representing eleven regions and more than 100 cultural groups. Several of the exhibition’s cultural consultants will be participating in the Intertribal Marketplace along with their latest creations. Museum admission is free with Intertribal Arts Marketplace admission. |
