By Staff reports

EL CAJON, Calif. – Officials of Sycuan Resort, an award-winning golf resort 24 miles inland from downtown San Diego, recently announced plans for a comprehensive $2.7 million renovation project. The project launched Oct. 9 with an anticipated completion date of Dec. 31, 2009. Sycuan Resort has named HFS Concepts 4, a leading design, architecture, project management and strategic sourcing and procurement firm, as its interior design firm.

The renovation will improve the resort’s overall aesthetic quality and guest amenities. Each of the 100 rooms will be upgraded to include new:

• Case goods
• Plush carpeting
• High-end drapery and bedding
• Flat panel TVs
• Bathrooms and granite vanities
• Bedroom furniture and beautiful mosaic-tiled headboard

“Guests can look forward to staying in newly renovated rooms transformed to complement the beautiful and expansive grounds of Sycuan Resort,” said Jeff Clough, the property’s newly appointed general manager. “Our goal with this new design is to provide a crisp and clean, yet residential feel that will appeal to both the loyal, long-time Sycuan Resort guest as well as new guests seeking a peaceful and modern golf resort experience.”

Each room on the Sycuan Resort property has a golf course view, and is a convenient five-minute complimentary shuttle ride to the Sycuan Casino. It provides guests with gaming action, fine dining and live entertainment.
